FALL 2022
This season has been the most hyped anime season since many years and it isn't for nothing , with many big titles releasing this season , the bars have definitely been up and fans have kept on waiting. The waiting seemed like centuries for some new manga adaptations and also the new and fresh seasons of the already popular ones. Here, i am gonna tell you some of the animes that I've been keeping up with and have enjoyed every bit of them. If you haven't seen them, then I'd definitely recommend you to go check them out.
CHAINSAW MAN
Chainsaw man has been the hype not only of the season but the entire season . After a trailer about 2 years ago that promised us a fresh new mappa masterpiece, we have finally revieved the fruit we waited for so long
In terms of animation quality, there's no doubt that mappa artists have done the unexpected. From the blink of the eye to the tieing of a tie , all of them seem so smooth ,that you will be sucked into the beautiful yet horrific world created by its magnificent animation
Another highlight of the show its music. Every episode has its own ending which is a great feat for an anime and some of the songs are really well suited to the tone of the show .
The story is pretty much what you'd expect seeing the hype . Chainsaw man anime was already very popular in the community gmfor it's unpredictable situations and realistic depiction of human relations and actions, set aside the entire plot involving the devils.
They story offers something we find lacking in other shows, a new and vulnerable plot which keeps you hooked . A well planned antagonist who isn't a psycho on the path of world domination or world destruction.
BLEACH
Bleach has returned after 10 years , although it seems like yesterday the first season came to a pause but it really has been such a long time . Personally , i didn't have much to expect from the show , considering it to be the weakest among the big 3 . But i do regret thinking so now. What the show made me realise was that id been living in a world where the people unconditionally loved and praised Naruto and one piece but showered hate on bleach without even understanding it.
Bleach isn't your conventional story .
The new tybw arc is one step ahead of the original series . The animation team seems to have put its entire budget in animating the show to such an extent that I'd say it's comparable to the other big one here - CSM .the fight scenes are so cool that they'll keep you at the edge the entire time .
These mesmerizing visuals are accompanied by an amazing bgm work which absolutely works well with the show .
I've never been a fan of ichigo, struggling to understand his motivations and also his design but it doesn't change the fact that my man is strong and looks badass af in his shinigami costume.
The ending song also is amazing and you should check it out .
People had been hyping the entry of yhwach- the almighty Quincy king and the final villain of the series and they got what they expected . He has nice ideas which suit an antagonist and is a powerful foe for ichigo and team.
BLUE LOCK
Many call it the new haikyuu of football but they are not completely right. Blue lock sets itself apart by using some real life elements and combining them in fictional world . The concept of being egotistic in sports is something new and unacceptable to many who believe in sheer teamwork but the way it has been depicted and supported is new .
The animation is I'd say average for most of the part but the matches are nice as they kick the ball , a lot of intense thinking going on in th background . Some cg has been used but that isn't a problem .
The structure seems to be the usual kind of story as there's a very powerful player way beyond our main hero , who pokes our protagonist and then begins his quest to reach the same heights as his rival .
Sometimes it gets a bit boring but and I think it might not be that good for binge watching but if you see it weekly , you will keep on waiting for the next episode.
THE EMINENCE IN SHADOW
Honestly i wasn't planning to see this anime or i should say i didn't know about it but believe me it is a complete new yet the same isekai adventure. Why did I say so ? Becuase it does some things which no isekai has done but also goes down the same Power scaling isekai route . The main character Cid kagenou , a boy who wants to be the eminence in shadow in determined on being the npc in his own isekai . He prefers being a side character but holds the strings to everything that is happening from the background . He is extremely powerful and has his own organisation " shadow garden " which is an interesting thing as its members are all extremely strong and loyal to Cid .
The animation and art style Both are appealing . The voice acting is also amazing and this anime definitely needs a second season .
SPY X FAMILY
Spy X family had already established itself as a popular shonen entry this spring. So it doesn't need much of an introduction . The second cour has been animated by cloverworks which doesn't seem on par with the first season but the story is as comedic and wholesome as you'd expect . It's the kind of anime that you can watch after a stressful and tense day sitting on your couch . You don't need much thinking on what is going on in the show . Anya's waku waku is enough to make you smile .
Mob psycho 100 3
The second season of mob psycho had been a massive success. It breaks away from the cliche of a highschool anime and deals more seriously on the life of a teenager rather than focusing on getting him some girls . The first 2 seasons were primarily focused on how mob , an introvert deals with his life while managing his super psychic powers while the third season is more focused on his relationship with others , his own mindset , and the problems he has to deal with .
The animation is amazing and the artstyle is also marvelous being different from the rest .
MORE THAN A MARRIED COUPLE BUT NOT LOVERS
How can a anime list be complete without a romcom . And here's the romcom of the list . Although im not a big fan of the concept of the story, of high school students living with strangers as a married couple but overall the anime is likeable and unique in its own right। The main protagonist jirou is forced to Live with a gyaru girl and there's a mountain of problems for him।
One highlight of the series is the art style . It feels lively and up to the tone of the series .
